X Factor 2009 Winning Song – Download MP3 Single – Joe McElderry or Olly Murs

The winner of X Factor 2009 releases a song that is expected to be the Christmas number one. Finalists Joe McElderry, Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs battled it out for the chance to release the winning song.

The 2009 X Factor final was held on Sat 12th Dec 2009 and Sun 13th Dec 2009. In a twist to previous years finals, one of the three finalists left on the first night, to leave the final two to compete for the winner’s title on the final night. This saw joint favourite, Stacey Solomon, voted out on the Sat night which was perhaps one of this year’s biggest shocks.

The X Factor 2009 winner, will, therefore be either Olly Murs or expected favourite, Joe McElderry.

New Single Bad Boys

The long awaited news of the new Alexandra Burke single is being announced tomorrow on the Chris Moyles radio show.

The Radio One DJ will be the first to play the new single, called Bad Boys, which was first hinted by Alexandra herself via her Twitter page.

She tweeted; “1 more day 2go! Tomorrow will be a very special day in my life! You all get to hear the single and I turn 21!”.

The track features US rap artist Flo Rida and will be released on 12th October 2009 and was produced by The Phantom Boyz.

The Bad Boys track is expected to be on her debut album, planned for a November 2009 release.

I stumbled across a new website the other day called GIVe. Before you go rushing off to take a look, there’s just one page up at the moment offering people the opportunity to register before the official launch date which looks to be sometime in October.

Give is the fourth brand from fashion designer George Davies. The name GIVe comes from G for George, the roman numerals IV to indicate that this is his fourth brand, and e for eCommerce.

The previous brands are Next, George at Asda and Per Una at M&S. The odds are that this is going to be yet another success then!

The initial launch will be online with a small handful of GIVe Stores across the UK. According to the Telegraph newspaper, these will include London’s Regent Street and Glasgow’s Buchanan Street, plus stores in the following shopping centres; Liverpool One, Bristol’s Cribbs Causeway, Sheffield’s Meadowhall and Kent’s Bluewater. A store will also open in Kingston, Surrey.

Quick update – it looks as though the first GIVe stores will be in the Bluewater shopping center and the new Liverpool One shopping centre, and opened, as expected, in October 2009. It also looks like the GIVe online store will be open from Oct 2009 too so for those of us who aren’t near to one of the new shops, we’ll be able to buy the new GIVe clothes, shoes, accessories etc from day one – yippee!

GIVe by George Davies

GIVe is aimed at women aged 30 and upwards, and is intended to be priced above Marks & Spencer, but below designer brands.

Mr Davies is being joined by key members of the original Per Una team so this is surely going to be the fashion event of the year.

According to our sources, we’re going to have to wait a little longer before we get our hands on Alexandra Burke’s debut album.

We were hoping that it might be in the spring or even early summer, but it looks like Simon Cowell and the team are going to repeat what they did with Leona Lewis. That is, to wait until around November.

Why the delay? It looks as though they are still looking for the right songs.

“[Her label was] planning a quick release – possibly as early as March in time for Mothers’ Day,” said an insider. “But they have reconsidered and will now go for the autumn – probably November.”

“They want to wait to find the right songs and let her polish her skills, like they did with Leona. She can then launch it on a live X Factor show.”

They added: “Leon Jackson’s album failed to shift as many copies as they hoped when they waited ten months after his X Factor win before releasing it. They didn’t want to risk the same thing happening but think Alex’s talent and appeal is closer to Leona’s levels, so they can afford to wait to get it right.”

Beyonce Tour

News this week of a tour tie-up that nearly was. Following on from their X Factor duet, Beyonce asked Alexandra if she would like to support her on tour. Wow!

Unfortunately, Alexandra had to turn down the offer due to work commitments.

The good news is that, that work committment is her new album!

Beyonce explains..

“She’s so talented and beautiful and her voice is so soulful. Actually, I wanted her to open my tour for me, but she hadn’t finished her album, so she couldn’t do it.”

Alexandra is currently in the US recording her debut, which is expected in the Autumn.

New Alexandra Video

Alexandra has received thousands of questions from fans since winning the X Factor. This video has been produced to answer some of those fans’ questions.

JLS Album

The JLS boys are back with a new album, not that they have ever been away!

Their debut album was released after they had a fantastic X Factor competition in 2008. Originally planned for early 2009, the debut JLS album was released in Summer 2009.

Their latest album was released in November 2009, which means it’ll make an ideal christmas gift for someone special.

The JLS album will be the second to be released by one of the 2008 X Factor finalists, and as such, this means that both Eoghan Quigg and JLS will have albums out before Alexandra. Hmm. We’re not too chuffed about this but we do, however, trust Simon on this one. We just can’t wait for the new Alexandra Burke Album.
